Chapter Name: Hiram High School HOSA
Chapter Officers and titles: Elena Arroyo-President, Elizabeth Sanders-Vice President, Jessica Hill-Secretary, Kristen Hatin – Treasurer.
Advisor Name: Kay Gray
Event Name: American Heart Association Heart Walk
Description of Event: Our chapter raised money for the American Heart Association and then participated in our county’s heart walk on November 3, 2007. We had people who were face painting, hop scotching, and blood pressure screenings; there were also people who walked the three mile trail.
Georgia HOSA is embarking on a new tradition for our new website! We want to recognize the chapters that are active in their community by putting them on the Georgia HOSA Website; one every two weeks. There is no requirement of what type of activity it may be, but it has to be involving your local chapter of HOSA. The event must have taken place during this school year, 2007-2008.
