State Leadership Conference
Georgia HOSA holds our State Leadership Conference each year in order to showcase the leadership and skills training the students have obtained during the school year. This is done mainly through the Georgia HOSA Competitive Events program. Georgia HOSA offers 58 competitive events ranging from interviewing skills to CPR.
If students do not wish to compete, they can participate in many other events such as visiting exhibitor booths, attending educational symposiums, serving on the Courtesy Corps, serving as a chapter voting delegate and networking with other HOSA members who share the same interests.
2013- March 7-9, The Classic Center, Athens, GA
2014- March 6-8, The Classic Center, Athens, GA
Competitive Events
The State Leadership Conference (SLC) is an exciting opportunity for HOSA members to show off their hard work. The top 10 in each region for each event make it to the SLC and will take a round 1 test (if the event calls for this). Some events do not require students to enter at the region level such as Career Health Display, Job Seeking Skills, etc.
The top 3 at the SLC will move to the National Leadership Conference (NLC).
For more information regarding the Georgia HOSA Competitive Events offered at this year's SLC, please visit the Competitive Events page.
