HOSA Success Day is a very important training session to attend for new advisors and our experienced advisors as we discuss changes in HOSA and pass out the Advisor's Guide. In addition, we will review the calendar of events for the year, go in-depth on preparing students for competitive events, and we will cover topics requested from previous year participants.
This training is held in July on the Saturday and Sunday of the GACTE conference to alleviate travel challenges. If you are not attending the GACTE conference, you are still welcome!
UPDATE
We have reviewed surveys and are making a great change after reading all of them! HOSA Success Day will be changing from a two-day format to a one-day format regardless of teaching/advisor experience. The new format will start with a updates session and then will provide advisors the ability to attend breakout sessions (a lot of new teaching content) of their choosing, catered lunch, more sessions and then a great roundtable best practices sharing. The event will start promptly at 10am and will end at 4pm.
A tentative agenda and registration information will be posted as we get closer to the conference.
