Why are my HOSA members not showing up in the conference registration system?

The reason they are not appearing in the conference system is because they are probably still in the holding queue of the affiliation side of the system. If you go back to the membership affiliation screen and go through the steps as if you were going to add more members, you should see the list of students in the queue on the left side of the screen. You will need to click "Next" at the bottom right of the screen and continue through the steps until you complete the process and click "Done."

Can my students still compete at the State Leadership Conference even though they didn't compete at the region level?

Yes. There are over 25 events which do not require students to compete in at the region level.

How can I get a copy of my registration invoice for conferences?

You must print a copy of this before registration closes. While you are logged into the registration system, you'll see a link that says "Invoice/Registration Summary". Click that link to pull up your pdf version of your chapter invoice. Verify the information is correct on this invoice as this is the final information that will be sent to HOSA headquarters for the conference.

Can I add students after the registration deadline?

No. The registration deadline is set so that we can begin gathering data and placing orders for items necessary to make the conference a success. It is important to check over your registration before the registration deadline.

What if a student who was on a team that placed at region cannot compete at state?

You are allowed to replace up to 50% of your team that won at region. If, for example, you had 4 members on the HOSA Bowl team and 2 of them cannot come, you can replace them with other students who did not compete at region. If you had a team of 3, you could only replace 1 of the members. If, on your team of 3, two of them couldn't come, the 1 student remaining would have to pick an event that was a state only event.

I don't understand the "Dress for Success" suit drive, can you please explain the process and how it is benefiting Haiti?

1st Part: The local chapters and their advisors will collect as much business attire as possible before SLC. The business attire can be gently used. The attire must be appropriate and in good condition. You turn in any attire while you are picking up your registration items upon check in at SLC.

2nd Part: Once all attire is turned in and sorted it'll be available for sale to all Georgia HOSA members and advisors at the HOSA store. The prices will range from five to fifteen dollars depending on the quality. This attire is for HOSA members to wear at the general sessions, business meetings and competitions at State Leadership Conference. As stated in the SLC guide, if a member is not wearing appropriate attire to any of these sessions they can be turned down or points deducted from their competition.

3rd part: The money we get from the suit drive and the clothes that remain will be donated to Haiti.
