Strategic Plan
The Georgia HOSA Strategic Plan is reviewed on an annual basis by the Georgia HOSA, Inc. Board of Directors. The purpose of a strategic plan is to identify where our organization plans to be in one to five years and how to measure when we make it there.
By reviewing the goals of the Georgia HOSA, Inc. board of directors in the strategic plan, you'll be able to share our excitement of the future of the organization.
One Year Plan
- Develop and implement program for junior HOSA.
- Develop Georgia HOSA brand and increase marketing
-Professional brochures available to local chapter advisors
-Professional displays available to local chapter advisors
-Board member/State Officer representation at 2 or more professional organizational meetings
- Improve communication between GA HOSA headquarters and local chapter advisors through a variety of methods
- Improve communication among board members by creating secure log-in on the Georgia HOSA website for board sensitive material
- Increase gender diversity by actively recruiting male members for the Georgia HOSA Board of Directors
- Continue to investigate the viability of regional skills testing for Georgia HOSA students
- Fill all vacant board positions
- Implement the Georgia HOSA ACCESS Program.
Five Year Plan
- 1. Advocate for legislative support of GA HOSA
- 2. Develop and “roll out” Alumni Association
- 3. Increase GA HOSA membership and participation at the post-secondary level by 10%
- 4. Develop and implement CE skills testing at the region level
- 5. Develop and implement a mentorship program for all new HOSA advisors
- 6. Develop equipment and resource library at GA HOSA headquarters
