JumpStart is a training program led by Georgia HOSA Region Representatives and State Officers. It is offered to local officers in the middle school, secondary and post-secondary divisions and focuses on local chapter development, management, and engagement. This training program is in its second year, and provides a connection between local officers and Region Representatives/State Officers while providing essential information to increase local chapter success and the overall success of Georgia HOSA.
We highly encourage chapter advisors to attend with their officers but is not a requirement for advisors to attend with secondary members or post-secondary members.
If you have not elected chapter officers you may send students that are leaders or that may be leaders in the future. The trainings were spread across the state so the drive wouldn't be as bad for everyone. We have not specified certain regions to attend certain trainings. You can attend any training you wish to. Some schools are driving a little longer to attend another training because the date of the training closest to them did not work.
