HOSA Success Day was… a SUCCESS!
Hosted at the Renaissance Waverly Atlanta in conjunction with GACTE (Georgia Association of Career and Technical Education), Success Day was a fantastic beginning to a new Georgia HOSA year. 84 Advisors, 67 Experienced and 17 new arrived and spent quality time networking, brainstorming, sharing and learning the fundamentals of guiding a HOSA chapter from the perspective of an advisor.
The five and a half hour session was jam-packed with updates, website navigation, new advisor resources, and even competitive event overviews. Executive Director Allen Seigler led the session alongside Competitive Events Director Gina Wilkes, Board of Directors Chairman Charlotte Sims, with the assistance of local advisors Barbara Naymick and Christina Branch and staff member Jordanna Lundgren.
With a clear positive result from advisor surveys, Success Day 2010 was a definite success and we look forward to hosting a new and improved HOSA Success Day next year.
