Serving Your Region

Armin Behroozi, Region 2 Representative
The job of a Region Representative is mainly to represent and promote HOSA in a responsible and exemplary manner. Although this a duty of both State Officers and Region Representatives, we Region Representatives operate on a more local level, maintaining the foundation for this organization. As a team, we achieve this through individual school visits, JumpStart training sessions, and soon to be regional conferences. I personally work closely with district schools and advisors to ensure that every school provides the optimal HOSA experience for local HOSA members.
The job of Region Representative has many perks as well; Representatives are rewarded with countless opportunities to meet important individuals, enjoyable officer outings, and the chance to perfect their communication skills at training sessions. Region Representatives also learn the importance of teamwork when organizing conferences or making important HOSA decisions with State Officers.
For all perspective Region Representatives, keep in mind that these duties are not for everyone. When we as an officer team look for potential candidates, we look for those who are truly passionate about promoting and serving HOSA. We look for those who set an example in their communities and take delight in what HOSA has to offer as an organization.
That, in itself, is the main reward of being a Region Representative for Georgia HOSA.
